The Light Up Ndokwa movement has announced plans to host its maiden conference on October 1, 2025, in Obinomba, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
The initiative, which seeks to champion development, empowerment, and unity across Ndokwa land, is drawing attention from community stakeholders, youth leaders, and opinion shapers who believe the movement could play a vital role in addressing social and economic challenges in the area.
Organizers disclosed that the conference will serve as a rallying point for Ndokwa sons and daughters to deliberate on key issues affecting the region and to chart new pathways for progress. Participants are expected from across the three Ndokwa-speaking LGAs—Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West, and Ukwuani.
While full details of the program are to be shared in the coming days, the convener encouraged the public to “check the comment section” of the official announcement channels for updates and to support the movement wholeheartedly.
The October 1st conference is symbolic, coinciding with Nigeria’s Independence Day, which organizers say represents a call for self-determination, innovation, and renewed hope for Ndokwa’s future.
